Job Description

This is a key role within the Voodoo Park family. We are after an architect who will love to get hands on with every project they’re involved in. You will be working closely with the Technical Director to achieve scalable, resilient solutions. Because you love to remain hands-on, you’ll be actively involved in both the design and development of the open-source platforms they deliver. You will design and develop in Agile environments.

General Responsibilities

  • You will work remotely from home and work your own hours ensuring your work is complete within the time required. You are responsible for your own time management.
  • You will take ownership of your work.  
  • You are responsible for taking your YooDoo time each week. YooDoo is two hours in work time to do something that benefits your physical or mental health. This is compulsory.
  • You will engage with and vote on UP, Voodoo Park’s democratic ethos.

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong background in Software Delivery, having supported and managed multiple teams.
  • End to end solution design experience.
  • Cloud, Mobile and Open Source Technology.
  • Ability to work within a technical environment.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong ongoing relationships across a business with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Consulting, Finance, Retail, IT or Telco background.
  • Portal, E-commerce and Content Management platforms experience desirable

Knowledge and Education

  • Relevant degree level qualification.
  • Experience working as part of a diverse and fast paced team.
  • Experience working in an Architect role.
