Delta Financial Systems are the uk’s leading provider of pension administration technology with clients including hSBc and Legal & General. Acquired in 2020 by Bravura Solutions for £23m, Delt FS’s platforms join a portfolio of software solutions entrusted with £1.6 trillion in assets.
Project Summary:
4x sprint teams to deliver change to Delta’s core platform required to meet government mandated legislative and regulatory change within extremely tight timeframes.

Overview:
Delta FS approached Voodoo Park to augment their in-house BA, development and testing capabilities by delivering sprint teams that could integrate with their existing teams and processes more rapidly than they would be able, should they recruit in themselves. Delta FS also needed a successful outcome for a high priority project, guaranteed.
Challenges:
Delta FS have built a reputation within the market of never missing a deadline. however, having found themselves needing to make an increasing amount of system changes on their large and complex core product in order to meet forthcoming regulatory requirements, they needed to urgently increase their delivery velocity.
Solution:
Placement over 6 months of 17 resources as 4x sprint teams, lead by a dedicated Success Manager.
Outcome:
Sprint team 1 stood up within 10 days of Voodoo Park’s initial engagement with Delta FS and Sprint team 2 stood up within 2 weeks of request.
The speed of Voodoo Park’s end to end onboarding onto Delta’s core platform and our ability to match the velocity of Delta’s existing teams within a short time frame has lead to Voodoo Park’s teams being charged with delivery of work streams on the critical path to meeting regulatory deadlines.
Delta FS also chose Voodoo Park to stand-up third and fourth specialist Data Migration sprint teams to deliver for 3 x new platform clients as opposed to recruiting internally and Vooodoo Park are now Delta’s go-to resource provider, with Voodoo Park’s Success Management being noted as a key factor.
